Lido Key offers Gulf-front condos, waterfront homes and relaxed coastal living just minutes from St. Armands Circle and Downtown Sarasota. Buyers are drawn to Lido Beach, walkability, boating access and the island’s convenient location.
Lido Key offers one of the most balanced lifestyles on Florida's Gulf Coast. Located just west of Downtown Sarasota, this beautiful barrier island combines luxury waterfront living, white sand beaches, boating, and walkable access to one of Sarasota's most iconic destinations—St. Armands Circle.
Residents enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Lido Beach, where uncrowded stretches of sand, breathtaking sunsets, and calm Gulf waters create the perfect setting for daily walks, paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply enjoying the Florida lifestyle. Just a short stroll away, St. Armands Circle features exceptional restaurants, boutique shopping, cafés, galleries, and year-round events that make the island feel vibrant without being overwhelming.
Real estate on Lido Key includes Gulf-front condominiums with panoramic water views, luxury waterfront estates, charming beach homes, and bayfront residences with boating access. Whether you're searching for a full-time residence, seasonal retreat, or investment property, Lido Key offers a wide range of opportunities in one of Sarasota's most desirable coastal communities.
Its location is one of its greatest advantages. Residents enjoy island living while remaining just minutes from Downtown Sarasota's arts, dining, healthcare, marina, and cultural attractions. Few communities offer such easy access to both the beach and the city.
My Take on Lido Key
If friends ask me where I’d buy on the islands, Lido Key is always part of the conversation. What I like is the balance: you can spend the morning on Lido Beach, walk to dinner at St. Armands Circle, and still be only minutes from Downtown Sarasota. There are very few places in Sarasota where beach access, walkability and proximity to downtown come together this well.
